glad to hear everyone had a good time, and happy birthday carolyn. i got a bill from lone pine propane about the regulator & to change the line from pig tail to hog tail. did it improve the quality of light? hope so. also did mark fix the screen door? the pictures were good & is the baby chris & debra's grandson? he is very cute.
Hi Pat and Denise,
ReplyDeleteI guess I forgot to tell you about those things. Mark did fix the screen door - good as new. We think it does need a handle on the inside, the bottom hinge is not hitting right. We fixed it when we first got there, but by the time we left, it was hitting wrong again. Greg said it needs longer screws.
The propane guy (Rick) did change the line from pigtail to hogtail. He also found a gas leak at the hot water heater. He said that is the worst place it could ever be, but he foud it and fixed it.
He suggested that we change out the pipe that is on the ground - said it is getting rusty. I have a copy of the bill, but he said he would send it to you as well. I left a package of information at the cabin for all to read regarding safety and etc...
The baby is Lincoln - Chris and Debra's grandson. He was a very good baby at the cabin.
Hi all,
ReplyDeleteI thought the propane guy also put in a new regulator??? In any case, the quality of light inside did not change at all. I wonder if that pipe he suggested changing out could be choked down with rust.
I put some slightly longer screws into the lower hinge on the screen door...what I could find up there. They are a little narrow and could pull out eventually.
We had some trouble finding tools. There had been some screw drivers, plyers, etc., in the kitchen drawer, but I didn't see that stuff anywhere. I like Pat's idea to better organize the basement. A few shelves down there could help us keep things straight and out of the kitchen area.
